In the year of 1850, the well-known English navigator, Sir Francis Drake and his vessel, the Golden Hind, passed the Cape of Good Hope (named so by King John 2 of Portugal in 1488), and made the remark: “This cape is a most stately thing, and the fairest cape we saw in the whole circumference of the earth…”
In close on 400 years, the little outpost in the Fairest Cape has grown into a country, which is widely regarded as the commercial, industrial and financial powerhouse of Africa.

Our country’s biggest asset, it’s People, speak eleven official languages and the Rainbow Nation is proud of its ancestry from Africa, Europe, the Middle East, the Far East and India.

This diverse back ground we share, makes us strong and probably a tad hardnosed as well, but quite interesting!
